The KANTINE, located on the David Chipperfield Architects Berlin campus, offers employees and guests its popular lunch menu as well as breakfast, coffee and a cake selection. Start your day with granola, eggs in the basket or cake with fresh seasonal fruit or enjoy a short timeout amongst architects in Berlin’s liveliest district.
Our daily changing lunch menu offers classic German and international dishes – meat and fish dishes, salads, soups as well as vegetarian options – to enjoy in the specially designed exposed concrete building or under plane trees in our courtyard during the summer months.
During the mornings and afternoons our quiet upper floor equipped with secure and fast Wifi is a great space to work or for smaller meetings.

Apparently open to the public but the impression we were left with was that they would much rather not.
The food was fine but barely warm and the atmosphere was decidedly froideur.
No help was offered with the menu and the staff seemed much more interested in talking to each other than attending to their customers.
The interior is Californian industrial chic which added to the frozen atmosphere.
We ate and left quickly.
